The main aim of Education is training of the Body, mind and spirit. Therefore we train students to develop their academic ability, Practical Skills and inculcation of good values & morals.

In our core training Programme which includes micro-teaching & Integration lessons, students are trained in various skills like stimulus variation, demonstration, illustration, explanation skills etc, for ensuring effective teaching.

In our special Training Programme we have Practice lessons and Internship Programme where students are alloted tp reputed schools for conducting lessons by using different types of methods of teaching; this helps to build confidence & creative thinking in students.

In the course related Practical work. For paper V (Content Cum Methodology) workshop is conducted where the students actually study and analyze the syllabus and curriculum from standard VI to XII by fulfilling objectives of teaching students.

Well qualified and experienced teaching staff are given golden opportunity to attend state, & national level seminars, workshops etc. which increase their quality of teaching.

To keep bodyfit students are trained in meditation yoga & exercises. These activities are conducted regulary in the college.

Science Experiments : Although not mentioned in syllabus of University of Pune (but recommended by NCTE), we conduct science experiments for the students of science mehtod. This helps in developing cofidence and bridge the gap between theory & practical.

Seminars : To get the experience of handling a higher age group and also to develop the communicative skills and confidence, group discussion are organized. So each & every Pupil - Teacher prepares one lecture for B.Ed. level and present it before his/her colleagues & lecturers.

Earn & Learn Scheme : To ensure the dignity of labour & help the economically backward students and make them self reliant and also to beautify the college, Earn & Learn scheme was started in the academic year 2007-2008.

Spoken English Course : For developing the communication skills of all our students in general and the students comming from Marathi medium background we started spoken English Programme in particular in the academic year 2006-2007 (First year of the college). It has proved very successful in the personality development of students. This also ensures their better job opportunity.

Civil Defence Course : This programme was organized by Mr. Maduskar, Deputy Co-ordinator of Civil Defence Pune & his collegues. Students as well as college staff was benefited by this programme. This course helps in tackling the day-to-day natural or man made crises, and also predict or control the situation to a great extent and reduce the loss caused by the calamities.

Supervised study : Different methods of teaching are used in the college. Self study is one of them. It is done under the intelligent and experienced supervision of lecuturers. This helps in developing systematic and healthy habbits of studies. After studies students clear their doubts through discussion with colleagues & teachers.

Psychological tests : Although not made compulsory in B.Ed. syllabus upto 2007-2008, we conduct many psychological tests along with usual psychological experiments. This helps students to know their strengths and weaknesses and also helps teachers to plan for remmedial teaching.

Evaluation of teachers by students : To incease the efficiency of our teachers and improve the quality of teaching, performance of teachers is evaluated by the students. And teachers are benefited by thier feedback.

Placement Services : Besides completion of usual syllabus, college works hard for job security of students. The most important aim behind it is to place a proper person at proper place. This helps saving time & money of students.

Educational Visits : We organize long & short educational visits. e.g. visit to IUCCA or the occassion of National Science Day (28^th Feb). This makes students aware about the modern trends and also develops their interest and makes them enthusiastic.

Achievements : Although in its infancy, college has touched the heights of success. Our students participate enthusiastically in intra college as well as in inter college competitions. Organization of Inter School singing, drawing, essay writing competitions for practicing schools.
